The idea of a video portrait or a “moving painting” as Kanye refers to it is very interesting. In a day and age where there is a fear of motion and multimedia killing the still image and print media- this is a an inspiring reference for the ever blurring line of photography, video, and cgi. Being familiar with Marco Brambilla’s Civilization and always a fan of Kanye I actually watched the premiere last night live on MTV.
